At TalentCorp, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct in all our business dealings. To uphold these values, we have established a clear and comprehensive gift policy to guide our employees, contractors, and third parties. - Scope
This policy applies to all TalentCorp Group ‘s employees, directors, officers, contractors, and all business associates. It covers the giving and receiving of gifts in the course of performing duties for or representing the company, whether in Malaysia or abroad, and applies to all business relationships, including with clients, suppliers, partners, and government officials. - Policy Statement
TalentCorp Group observes a gift policy that allows for the giving and receiving of gifts under certain events and specific conditions. This policy ensures that our business decisions remain objective and free from undue influence.
We recognize that the exchange of gifts can be a customary practice in certain cultures and business contexts. To maintain transparency and fairness, we have established the following guidelines:- Acceptable Gifts: Employees are encouraged as much as possible to decline any gifts offered, however may accept and give gifts that fall within the following categories:
- Corporate Gifts: Items bearing the company logo, such as pens, notepads, or calendars.
- Perishable Items: Foods, flowers, and fruits that are shared among employees and not retained by any individual.
- Books: Books that are relevant to the business or professional development.
- Approval and Declaration: Employees shall seek approval from management beforehand. All giving and accepted gifts must be declared to Group IGU and documented in the Gift Register.
- Prohibited Gifts: Cash or cash equivalents, gifts that could influence business decisions, and gifts that violate any laws or regulations are strictly prohibited.
