Vetri MADANI is a structured career pathway designed to help Indian youth, particularly those from B40 families, gain industry-relevant skills and move directly into meaningful employment.
Previously implemented by the Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA)as the Malaysian Indian Skills Initiative(MiSI)versions 1.0 and 2.0, the programme has now been strengthened and expanded under the Vetri MADANI framework to deliver clearer career outcomes and stronger job placement support.
Implemented by TalentCorp together with HRD Corp and fellow KESUMA departments and agencies, under the TalentCorp MyMahir ecosystem, Vetri MADANI focuses on one clear outcome:
Training that leads to real jobs.
This programme follows a fully industry-driven train-and-place model, connecting real employer needs with job-ready talent.
Employers identify the actual skills they need.
Solution providers design programmes aligned to real job roles.
Participants complete job-ready training.
Placement into employment follows training completion.
Training is fully funded by KESUMA.
For MiSI 2.0 driven by TalentCorp, the previous phase delivered strong, measurable results — demonstrating that this model transforms lives at scale.
Participants entered high-value industries with long-term growth and strong income potential:
Vetri MADANI is not just about learning new skills. It is about building a stable future.
Detailed eligibility criteria and intake dates for Vetri MADANI under TalentCorp will be announced soon. Official updates will be shared through TalentCorp platforms.
