JPA-MAP

Providing JPA scholars with a 3-month structured apprenticeship programme
Overview
The JPA-Management Apprenticeship Programme (JPA-MAP) is a collaboration between Public Service Department (JPA) and TalentCorp. The Programme aims to provide JPA scholars who have graduated with an opportunity to undergo structured training with selected statutory bodies, government-linked companies (GLCs) and private sector companies.
JPA-MAP also aims to achieve these five main objectives:
  1. To nurture JPA scholars for the Malaysian workforce
  2. To ensure that all JPA scholars serve their bond in Malaysia upon graduating
  3. To place scholars in relevant core business/industries based on ‘place & work’ methodology
  4. To allow host organisations the first option to hire scholars after their 3-month apprenticeship
  5. To help drive the Economic Transformation Programme
Statutory bodies, GLCs and private sector companies will have access to top talent, while scholars will be able to gain work experience with leading Malaysian employers upon completing undergraduate studies.
