Image of Shareen Shariza Dato' Abdul Ghani

Chief Executive Officer
Shareen was appointed the Chief Executive Officer of TalentCorp on 1 June 2016. Before joining TalentCorp, Shareen was the Director of Corporate Responsibility at Khazanah Nasional Berhad, where she helped shape Khazanah’s Corporate Responsibility strategy and established initiatives such as PINTAR, Yayasan Sejahtera and GEMS Malaysia. Prior to that, she was Chief Operations Officer at MERCY Malaysia, where she served in humanitarian missions to Darfur, Sri Lanka, Iran, Aceh and remote areas throughout Malaysia.

Shareen was a former board member of the Humanitarian Accountability Partnership and a recipient of the Pingat Darjah Paduka Mahkota Perak for her contributions towards humanitarian efforts. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications (Journalism) from Universiti Sains Malaysia, a Masters of Studies in Sustainability Leadership from Cambridge University, and a Masters in Public Policy from Universiti Malaya.

General Manager, Corporate Development & Shared Services
Hilal has over 23 years of experience primarily in the banking and financial services industry, in companies such as Deutsche Bank, Affin Investment Bank, and Khazanah Nasional Berhad. He had also undertaken several advisory work for corporations and government in various scopes including feasibility studies, investment evaluation, market study and research and consultancy, for business ventures and policy making.

Hilal holds a BA (Hons) in Financial and Legal Studies from Sheffield Hallam University and obtained his MBA in Business Finance from University of Hull, both in the United Kingdom. He is a lifetime member and alumni of Harvard Club Malaysia.

Head, Research, Development & Policy Unit
Mahuran heads the Research Department where she works closely with stakeholders from federal and state governments/agencies, industry players, employer federations, labour unions and international agencies in conducting research study on human capital requirement.

Mahuran has more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources Management and has a wide knowledge and experience in Human Resources Strategy and Operation, Human Capital Development, Human Resources Performance Management as well as Industrial Relation Management. She is also a member of NAM Institute for the Empowerment of Women (NIEW), Malaysian Directors of Academy (MINDA) and Association of Women Entrepreneur Network of Malaysia (WENA).

Head, Industry Partnership & Malaysian Professional Talent
Sugunah leads the Industry Partnership & Malaysian Professional Talent teams where she advocates initiatives in the spectrum of future of work, collaborates with industry partners in positioning Malaysia as a dynamic and market-oriented talent hub, and delivers signature programmes to drive talent solutions.

Prior to joining TalentCorp, Sugunah held various regional roles including as Human Resource Business Partner for General Electric (GE), and as Human Resource Director at Bristol-Myers Squibb. Among other companies she has worked with include Pfizer and Ericsson Telecommunications in the capacity of HR and communications.

Sugunah holds a BSc (Hons) in Human Development from Universiti Putra Malaysia, and a Masters in Human Resource Management from the University of Western Sydney, Australia. She is a Gold Award recipient of MIHRM Human Resource Leader, and has won various recognitions in the companies she has served.

Head, Graduate & Emerging Talent
Shariza leads the Graduate & Emerging Talent (GET) team in developing and refining initiatives for students and graduates. Prior to this, Shariza worked independently on project management, strategic planning and product development for Government-linked companies, and non-profit organisations in sustainability valuation and social impact.

Shariza graduated from Multimedia University, and holds a MBA in Corporate Social Responsibility from the Nottingham University Business School, United Kingdom.

Executive Director, MYXpats

Siva has been at the forefront of immigration research and development, engaging various stakeholders towards developing policy recommendations to deliver a more facilitative framework for highly skilled expatriates. Among his accomplishments include setting up Malaysia’s first online expatriate application system, e-Xpats and setting up the e-Xpats Service Centre for MSC and ICT Industry. He was also instrumental in the re-engineering of Employment Pass Division of Immigration Department, since renamed to Expatriate Services Division (ESD). 

An MBA holder and software engineer by training, Siva is currently the Executive Director of MYXpats, a subsidiary of TalentCorp Malaysia. 
TalentCorp was established on 1 January 2011 under the Prime Minister's Department.
