Chief Operating Officer
Shareen Shariza was appointed the Chief Operating Officer of TalentCorp on 1 March 2016. Before joining TalentCorp, Shareen was the Director of Corporate Responsibility at Khazanah Nasional Berhad, where she helped shape Khazanah’s Corporate Responsibility strategy and established initiatives such as PINTAR, Yayasan Sejahtera and GEMS Malaysia. Prior to that, she was Chief Operations Officer at MERCY Malaysia, where she served in humanitarian missions to Darfur, Sri Lanka, Iran, Aceh and remote areas throughout Malaysia.

Shareen was a former board member of the Humanitarian Accountability Partnership and a recipient of the Pingat Darjah Paduka Mahkota Perak for her contributions towards humanitarian efforts. She holds a Master of Studies in Sustainability Leadership from Cambridge University and Master in Public Policy from University Malaya.

Mahuran heads the Research Department where she works closely with stakeholders from federal and state governments/agencies, industry players, employer federations, labour unions and international agencies in conducting research study on human capital requirement.
 
Currently part of the Institute of Labour Market Information and Analysis (ILMIA) group of advisors, Mahuran has more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources Management and has a wide knowledge and experience in Human Resources Strategy and Operation, Human Capital Development, Human Resources Performance Management as well as Industrial Relation Management. She is also a member of NAM Institute for the Empowerment of Women (NIEW), Malaysian Directors of Academy (MINDA) and Association of Women Entrepreneur Network of Malaysia (WENA).

SHAMILI VELLAPANDIAN
Shamili Vellapandian
Head, Malaysian Professional Talent
Shamili develops and oversees initiatives to facilitate the return of top Malaysians abroad. Prior to her appointment as Head of Global Malaysian Talent Facilitation in January 2015, she led the Returning Expert Programme (REP) which has since evolved with a more holistic assessment criteria of the REP applications. Her other responsibilities include formulating tax measures geared towards enhancing Malaysian talent.

Currently on secondment from the civil service, Shamili served with the Ministry of Finance between 2006 and 2011 where she was involved in various policy and implementation work relating to Government financing, debt management, restructuring and was part of the 2011 annual Budget speech formulation taskforce. An accountant by training, Shamili is a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and holds a Master of Science (ICT).
 

SIVA KUMEREN A NARAYANAN
Siva Kumeren A Narayanan
Head, Foreign Talent
Siva has been at the forefront of immigration research and development, engaging various stakeholders towards developing policy recommendations to deliver a more facilitative framework for highly skilled expatriates.

An MBA holder and software engineer by training, among his accomplishments include the setting up of Malaysia’s first online expatriate application system known eXpats and setting up of eXpats Service Centre for MSC and ICT Industry.
 

Kasmariza Kassim

Head, Industry Partnership & Engagement
Kasmariza joined TalentCorp in 2015 and is leading the Industry Partnerships Department which helps to manage and drive collaborations between TalentCorp and leading employers in the National Key Economic Area (NKEA) sectors. 
 
Currently on secondment from SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad, Kasmariza headed its Talent Acquisition team which led recruitment activities including workforce planning, talent analytics and relationship management. Prior to this, she worked at Boustead Heavy-Industries Corporation Berhad and Flextronics.
 

MARIENA ABDUL MALEK
Mariena Abdul Malek
Head, Corporate Affairs
Mariena joined TalentCorp in August 2011 to start its Corporate Communications department. Prior to this, Mariena spent ten years at the Securities Commission Malaysia where she was responsible for media and stakeholder relations, corporate responsibility and international promotions of the country’s capital market. 

A graduate of UK’s Warwick University, Mariena has over 19 years of experience in Public Relations. She started her career in a small home-grown PR agency and took two years off to join a multinational team to start the country’s first dedicated classical music hall Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS before returning to Public Relations.
