Scholarship Talent Attraction & Retention (STAR).

This programme is a collaboration between TalentCorp and the Public Service Department (JPA). STAR enables JPA scholars to serve their scholarship bond in the private sector. Participants who take part in this programme will be given opportunities to serve at key Malaysian companies that support the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP).

Returning Expert Programme

The Returning Expert Programme (REP) was introduced to attract, facilitate and retain aspiring Malaysian returnees. Guided by TalentCorp’s expertise, this programme is constantly being improved to meet the needs of Malaysian expats. For example, as of 12 April 2011, a revised scheme of incentives for the REP was announced by the Prime Minister himself.

Residence Pass-Talent

Expatriates can apply for the Residence Pass-Talent to further enjoy their time in Malaysia. The Residence Pass-Talent is an initiative mooted by the Malaysian Government and has been in effect since April 2011. Its main aim is to attract and retain top talent in the country. Highly qualified expatriates seeking to continue living and working in Malaysia on a long-term basis may apply for the Residence Pass-Talent.
