YAB Dato' Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak
Prime Minister of Malaysia
Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib launched the Government Transformation Programme to improve the quality of public services, increase efficiency, and make the government more transparent. To drive the nation forward, Dato’ Sri Najib introduced a New Economic Model with reforms to create a business environment conducive to economic growth, development and investment.

The goal is to make Malaysia a high-income nation and a developed country by 2020.

YBhg Tan Sri Dr. Ali bin Hamsa
Chief Secretary to the Government
Tan Sri Dr. Ali bin Hamsa was appointed as the Chief Secretary to the Government of Malaysia. He started his career in the Administrative and Diplomatic Service as Trade and Industry Ministry Assistant Secretary in 1981. He served the Economic Planning Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department from 1997 to 2009.

At the Department, he held the positions of Director of Disbursement Division and Deputy Director-General of the National Transformation and Advancement Programme before being appointed Director-General of UKAS in the Prime Minister’s Department in 2009.

Chief Executive Officer of PEMANDU
Dato’ Sri Idris Jala is Chief Executive Officer of the Performance Management and Delivery Unit (PEMANDU). He has served on the Advisory Panel for the World Economic Forum (WEF) on New Economic Growth and also on the Advisory Panel of World Bank. Idris Jala was formerly the Managing Director/CEO at Malaysia Airlines (MAS) for three years.
